Tuition & Financing

Your paralegal education is one of the biggest investments you will ever make. Investing in your career is also one of the most important decisions you will make. We don't think any other paralegal school will prepare you for success in the paralegal field like the American Institute for Paralegal Studies.

The knowledge and skills you gain in just 12 months is invaluable. You’ll stretch your employment options while gaining expertise in a specialized area and preparing for national professional certification.

We will work with you to select an appropriate financing option based on your credit history or employer sponsored tuition reimbursement program.

Tuition effective June 2008:
$475.80/credit hour or $11,895 for the full 25 credit hour program.
Books and software: $890.00

Tuition Payment Options:

1. Full payment of tuition and books at the time of registration (10% tution discount applies)
2. Payment in four quarterly installments (5% tuition discount applies)
3. AIPS Financing (Payment plans up to 60 months)
4. Sallie Mae Private Career Loan Financing

Scholarships. We’ll reward hard work and academic commitment with merit scholarships (require a bachelor’s degree and a 3.0 GPA) and alumni scholarships. We also have a referral program available for family and friends who refer prospective students to the paralegal program and a program for active-duty military personnel, as well as opportunities for severely-injured service members and their spouses.

Low-interest loans. AIPS works in cooperation with Sallie Mae Financial Corporation to meet the financial needs of our students. The program offers interest rates as low as Prime +1 % and loan terms up to 15 years, resulting in affordable payments for you and your family. And your loan can include everything you need to purchase for the paralegal program, including computer equipment. You can submit your application over the phone and receive approval within 24 hours.

Payment plans. To help you plan your budget, we offer a variety of payment plans ranging in length from 12 to 60 months. Interest rates are based on term length. Please complete our credit application and fax your completed application to AIPS at 630-916-6694. 

Corporate reimbursement programs. Our listing in the Accredited Institutions of Postsecondary Education, published by the American Council on Education, allows us to offer corporate tuition reimbursement programs. Check with your human resource department for tuition reimbursement policies and forms.
