As a graduate of the American Institute's Paralegal Program, you are automatically a member of the Alumni Association, so we hope you will register (which is free), and take advantage of the resources it provides. The Alumni Center provides a seamless network of communication and a professional resource center for our graduates throughout the country. This is a free service for our graduates. -Receipt of our quarterly online magazine...I am particularly pleased to serve as the Association’s Alumni Director. I graduated from the American Institute in 1983 and served as its Regional Director for five years and its Vice President of Education for four years. My academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration and Justice from Shippensburg University, and of course my Paralegal Certificate from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies. In addition, I have over seven years experience as a litigation paralegal. I have also authored several articles which have been published in local and national legal publications including Legal Assistant Today and the Michigan Bar Journal. It will be my great pleasure to get to know you and to facilitate & moderate our discussions in cyberspace!The Legal Decree-The opportunity to take our Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) Review Course or the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam (PACE) for free within two years of your originally scheduled graduation date.
